Do you wonder about the men and women behind the scenes for your VoIP service provider? Let’s meet #TEAMIPITIMI. Each week, we will do a quick interview and feature one special employee on our blog to celebrate our diversity in this tight-knit community. This week, we would like to feature our Sales and Marketing Analyst, Melissa Molejon.polvam.ru
Q: Could you tell me a little bit about yourself?
A: My name is Melissa Molejon, and I am from Davao City, Philippines. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications. I have a great interest in lots of aspects in mass media such as film and TV production and journalism, which has influenced me in pursuing this course. I had internships and volunteering experiences in local radio stations as both writer and news reporter.
During college, I worked full-time as a call center agent which provided me with lots of experience in the IT/Networking industry. I stayed there for over 4 years until I finally decided to focus my attention and time on my internship program in college.
I also worked as a writer and research analyst for a military unit based in our city before finding my way here in IPitimi.
Q: What brought you to IPitimi?
A: A friend of mine told me that IPitimi was looking for someone to join their sales and marketing team. I took the chance and continued with the interview. The rest was history!
Q: What is your role in IPitimi?
A: Sales and Marketing Analyst
Q: What is IPitimi’s greatest strength in your opinion?
A: We’re like a family here! Everyone is treated with respect and equality despite most of us working miles and countries away. I love how everyone feels really proud of this diversity.
Q: Where do you see VOIP/IPitimi going in the next 5-10 years?
A: I see IPitimi topping VoIP GLOBALLY! With the company’s constant endeavors to upgrade in delivering the best in VoIP and enterprise communication service, it’ll not be impossible.
Q: Do you have a favorite work experience?
A: The weekly team calls. We’re from various locations, countries, and cultures, so this chance to talk to everyone regularly is just something I look forward to every week.
Q: I’m going ask some fun questions! What are some of the top things on your bucket list?
A:
Q: If you were stuck on an island, what are three things you wish to have?
A: Unlimited supply of matches, books, Chris Evans (Does a person qualify? He’ll make a good hunter!)
Q: Do you have any hobbies/interests outside of work?
A: Movies, books and daydreaming… I know, I’m boring. Well, I used to write poems. haha
